I got two rockets in this round on Marita and had 21 kills between them (11 with the first, 10 with the second). I finished the round at 55-10.

I was going through a directory of old photos and images a few nights ago when I couldn’t sleep, and I came across this ABSOLUTE GEM that I drew about Call of Duty: World at War way back in May 2009 πππ
What’s crazy is that this is still a problem in multiplayer games 15 years later. While far less prevalent than it used to be, it still happens to me multiple times a night in Battlefield. It’s obviously not an easy problem to solve, but hopefully someday game devs will figure it out since it’s definitely one of the most frustrating things about FPS games.

In the words of George Costanza, I’m back baby, I’m back!
After being unsure what I was going to do with the site for a while, I decided to go back to ClassicPress and resurrect and update a WordPress theme I built back in 2009 for my site when it lived at soupnazi.org.
I’ve also started playing Battlefield 5 again so maybe I’ll resume posting clips regularly again soon. Maybe the combination of that and having a fast and easy way to post will keep the site going this time. Or, maybe it won’t π€·ββοΈ

Horsing around at Multnomah Falls in April 2005
Ed. note: I originally wrote and published this 12 years ago in 2012. It’s now been 15 years since he passed and it still seems like just yesterday.
Three years ago tonight, at 8:30 PM Pacific Time, I was sitting on my couch playing Assassin’s Creed II. My twins were nearly 6 months old, and they were laying on the floor in front of the couch playing with some stuffed animals. Tiffany was at work. It was cold and rainy outside. My phone rang. The caller ID on my iPhone showed it was my brother, so I answered the way I usually do when he calls:
Hey! What’s up, man?

I’ve started playing Battlefield 5 again lately. Here’s a quick 4-piece before getting shot in the back from tonight’s games.

Some shots of the Aurora Borealis, captured tonight with my iPhone 16 Pro from my front porch and the steps up to my garage. Click on a thumbnail to see a larger photo.

Blake Watson is out with a new project called HTML for People. It’s an online book that teaches anyone how to create a website. From the intro:
HTML isnβt only for people working in the tech field. Itβs for anybody, the way documents are for anybody. HTML is just another type of document. A very special oneβthe one the web is built on.
This is an excellent resource and definitely worth checking it out, especially if you’ve ever wanted to build your own website but were unsure where to start.
