When Apple first announced AirPods 4, I couldn’t have clicked the pre-order button any faster than I did.
My AirPods Max — which I loved — were flaky as hell for the better part of 2 years (pretty much since AppleCare expired). They actually stopped working for about a year and then I threw them in the freezer for an hour and it brought them back to life, but that’s a different story and something that should be completely unnecessary for $549 headphones.
I’ve been trying to get this outfit forever, and I finally got it last night! The drop rate for it is insanely low—around 0.15%! 😳
After completing what felt like a million events in the Savage Divide, I finally hit the “Wasteland Lottery” and scored the outfit bundle that includes the White Powder Winter Sports jumpsuit!
The bundle also came with the Brotherhood of Steel jumpsuit and the Whitespring jumpsuit, both of which I had already bought from player vendors, along with a few other rare items. I’m so happy 😂
After running the site on Jekyll for the past 2-ish years, I’ve swicthed back to WordPress.
Long story short, I moved back because the publishing flow is so much faster. I’m old and I’m tired of putzing around with things to make them work — I just want them to work without a bunch of effort, and WordPress does just that 🤷♂️
Anyway, we’ll see how long this lasts. I’ll probably get bored and switch again at some point 😂
Since I’ve been playing Battlefield a little less while waiting on the new map to drop, I’ve started to get back into Fallout 76 again. It’d been 1½ to 2 years since last played, and A LOT has changed. I started a new character (my previous one was around level 235) and have been playing through it again. I forgot how much I love this game… I’ve really been enjoying it and am happy I got back into it.
While we’ve enjoyed and are proud of creating these seasons of additional content for Battlefield 2042, it is now necessary for us to turn from the present to the future. What this ultimately means is that Season 7 will serve as the final season for Battlefield 2042. After Season 7 concludes, we will continue to support the game with new in-game challenges, events, modes, and of course, ongoing maintenance, but we are moving away from delivering official seasons.
We know this news may be disappointing. However, as we looked at what the future of the series required, it became clear it was time for us to shift our resources and focus to be fully dedicated to what comes next.
While I understand the reasons behind this, it’s still a massive bummer since the game is finally in a state where it’s actually playable and fun most of the time. Yes, there are some VERY annoying bugs that were introduced in season 7 that are supposedly in the process of being fixed for the 7.1 update, but the game is still mostly fun despite them.
